Although the rain is much needed in California, emergency crews are preparing for the worst!

PG&E is on standby for any power outages in the area. PG&E announced that "everyone should prepare to see power outages during this and any other storms. They ask residents to unplug all their appliances and stay away from downed power lines," NBC Bay Area reports.

Additionally, fire crews all over the Bay Area are hopeful that the rain will end fire season. CHP advises drivers to be cautious, especially during commuter hours, and the Sierras are reportedly expected to get up to three feet of snow!
