Alameda County Sheriffs Make Biggest Illegal Marijuana Bust In Bay History!

Alameda County Sheriffs made the biggest illegal marijuana buts in Bay Area history. The large illegal grow operation was making tens of millions of dollars and avoiding California Marijuana regulations. Public information officer, Sgt. Ray Kelly, said,

We estimate at this time that we have seized over 100,000 plants and upwards of $10,000,000 in cash. In addition, there are millions of dollars in infrastructure, equipment, lighting, generators and supplies used to facilitate the grows. The enormity and complexity of this illegal grow operation cannot be expressed in words or pictures, it’s unbelievable.

The officers will be on the scene the next several days gathering all the evidence. As of September 30, they have seized 75,260 pounds of marijuana plants and recovered 12,000 pounds of the finished product. The plants will be destroyed by court order.
