FREMONT Students Plant Trees for Earth Day to Commemorate Covid Deaths

The Greenkeepers are working to better Mama Earth on the daily. They are a student run nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness and creating environmental solutions for a greener future. To celebrate Earth Day they are currently on a mission to plant trees as a tribute to the lives lost during Covid in their county. The trees they've planted will not only beautify the environment but they will also help to clean the air- especially considering all the trees we lost in the last batch of wildfires. They have already successfully held events this month, with their next event happening 4/24. They will be planting more trees throughout the city and specifically at the Sabercat Historical Park in Fremont. If you're looking for ways to celebrate Earth Day or you just want to join in the great work they're doing to care for Mama Earth learn more about Greenkeepers HERE or follow them on IG.

Thanks to these AMAZING students for their hard work to improve our environment and spread awareness to keep Mama Earth happy!
