Stomach virus outbreak at San Jose schools grows to other counties.

KRON 4 has reported that a stomach virus has sickened over hundred of students in the South Bay and may be spreading to other counties. So far 368 students have gotten sick at 14 different schools since the outbreak began since the beginning of May. The symptoms include vomiting and diarrhea. The virus is highly contagious. Schools have advised parents with children showing symptoms to please keep their child home for a full 48 hours after they appear to healthy again.
