Owner Speaks Out After Video Of Nail Salon Fight Goes Viral

Insane. A video of a fight in a nail salon went viral after it showed a customer being physically restrained and detained inside a shop. The owner is now speaking out believing he was justified because the customer attacked another customer first, and she then started to attack him. He now claims he is receiving death threats since the video went viral.

The incident happened Tuesday, March 28 at Fantasy Nails at 2053 West 25th Street around 4 p.m.

According to a Cleveland Police report, customer Adeshola Mohom went into the salon and complained about the manicure she received on Saturday, March 25.

The owner, Ty Dang, told her he would help her when the store was less busy, according to the report.

Mohom sat down but then became loud and abusive toward the staff, police said. The report said she assaulted another customer who told her "maybe if you ask nicely, they will help you."

After Mohom allegedly assaulted the customer, Dang grabbed her from behind and tried to get her out of the business.

Police said the security video camera footage confirmed Dang's story.

Dang was has some scratch marks, but refused EMS, authorities said. No other customers were hurt. No charges have been filed.
