Imagine That!
Imagine That! is a non-profit organization created for children in the Greater Bay Area to experience the joys of their imaginations around the holiday season. Imagine That! caters to children who are underprivileged, child abused, fostered, homeless and/or children of incarcerated parents. They host events 6 times a year for children from 2-10years old. Imagine That! gives children an opportunity to enjoy the holiday's with face painting, arts & crafts, games, nail art, entertainment, creative foods (the children can help prepare as an art) and much more. Their slogan is "Where your imagination comes to light!" Imagine That! encourages children to eat healthy and take care of their hygiene. They serve healthy snacks such as apples and carrots and on Halloween toothbrushes & floss are given out to the youth. Throughout the year they celebrate various events and have free activities for the youth including a January “Kids Winter Extravaganza” (purposely created after holidays when most children are forgotten about), a February “Kids Love Extravaganza” (love theme, children boys and girls experience love), April “Kids Easter Extravaganza”, July “Back to school Extravaganza”, October “Halloween Extravaganza” and November “Imagine That Homeless Feeding Extravaganza” (team up with churches to do activities with children). Along with bringing their creative specialties Imagine That! also brings the food that has been donated to our organization for the holiday season, from local sponsors.
