California's Tiny Home Villages Will Provide 1000 Unhoused With Shelter

Tiny homes have become a 'cool' option for people who want to have a fully functioning home that they can pick up and move on any given day. They are also a cost effective solution to housing that also has space constraints. Tiny homes can be found on properties with existing residential structures and if you've ever watched any of the reality series documenting their construction - you'll know these space conscious structures can be modern, comfortable and very tiny or exactly the amount of space needed to thrive. The tiny home concept has been a model to help create housing and provide shelter to unhoused community members throughout California. These tiny home villages create one stop locations for the homeless to get access to food, shelter, mental + physical healthcare, social services and potentially the ability to transfer to more long term housing.

Come November the largest tiny home village will welcome unhoused folks in Los Angeles and in total all the villages will have space for 1000 unhoused community members.
